The Road trailer is SERIOUS … this movie is fierce, it’s got real grit. ‘Sequel’ to No Country For Old Men.
I’m beyond reasonable hype for this, but you can tell ain’t no Coen Brothers swank on it. No Country was like a painting. Damn near every shot could’ve been one. This movie looks more like…just a movie. I don’t love how they’re trying to sell it either, but it worked for Jarhead.
If it’s as true to the book I’ve heard so much about, and as good as the movie I really see if for underneath. Whatever gets asses in seats, I don’t care. Sell it as Hills Have Eyes, sell it as War of the Worlds. Hell if you got some Mad Max or First Blood in you, do the damn thing.
